The experience includes a visit to the Dharnya Centre , where you’ll gain insight into the culture and history of the Yorta Yorta people, followed by a trip to a local tea tree plantation to discover its unique uses and production. It’s a relaxed and engaging way to round out the event while connecting with the land, its stories, and its people. The Dharnya Centre sits at the cultural heart of Yorta Yorta Country, serving as a hub for learning, sharing knowledge, and fostering connection. Nestled within Barmah National Park, home to the world’s largest river red gum forest, this remarkable site offers visitors the chance to explore the traditions, stories, and wisdom of the Yorta Yorta people while taking in the stunning river landscapes, forests, and wetlands.
